Mission

At Simply Women's Nutrition there are three guiding principles:

1. Keep it simple! As the name suggests I aim to keep nutrition simple, easy and uncomplicated.

2. Empowering you - I strive to empower you through listening to your story and providing you with the knowledge you need to control your own health.

3. Evidence-based - I work hard to stay up to date with the current scientific evidence. No cherry picking or out dated information here!

The Why

The main reason we created Simply Women's Nutrition is to empower people to take control of their health, to keep nutrition advice as simple and holistic as possible and to provide evidence-based nutrition advice. We want to help you improve your relationship with food and educate you on the ways it can improve your health, without cutting out any unnecessary foods. We take a balanced approach to nutrition because eating shouldn't be hard and you shouldn't have to miss out on spending time with your loved ones.

I am passionate about women's health, which has lead me to pursue a Ph.D. in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and lifestyle (diet and exercise) management at Monash University, Melbourne. Through my research, I am developing an extensive understanding of the unique challenges people face when managing PCOS. I believe that with the right diet and lifestyle choices, people can manage their PCOS symptoms and improve their overall health.

The How

Add not restrict

When it comes to what you eat we like to add foods rather than cut them out. I love chocolate and wouldn't dare make anyone go without their favourite food.

Non-diet approach

Despite what most people may think as a dietitian we will probably not give you a meal plan, or tell you exactly what to eat. Instead we will guide you toward more nutritious options that will help you achieve your goals.

Non-weight approach
We believe there are better indicators of health than weight like how you feel, how your bowel movements are going and blood results. We are ditching the scales to look at your health beyond your weight!
